Service Description
Summer Camp 2025 for grades K-3 will explore animals, both wild and domesticated; a favorite subject of children. Each art lesson will allow for creative work in a variety of mediums giving experience and practice in painting (both acrylic and watercolor), drawing, use of markers and collage work as well as book making. Hootenanny Class Mural - A kaleidoscope of color and types of owls, set in a magical forest! Each young artist will create their own owl and also help design the forest in a large group mural. Project will include collage work with scissors and cut paper. Favorite pet paintings - Our artists will each select a favorite pet and use vivid colors in a special painting technique with acrylic paints on canvas. Enchanting Ocean Adventure - With watercolors, a beautiful underwater scene will feature vibrant details: a playful octopus, a curious shark, a majestic sea turtle, and a variety of fish swimming through sea plants and coral reefs. Each little artist will create a very special painting. Wrinkle Art - Our artists will use markers to create lines and designs on crinkled paper, composing a vivid, balanced work of art both in color and design. My Zoo Tripping Book - Oh, the animals I will see as I visit an imaginary zoo! Following a specially chosen story about zoo animals, our little artists will select their favorites and illustrate their own book.
