Open Pottery Studio Sessions

Service Description

Try your hand at clay or develop your skills, with guidance and encouragement from an experienced potter! This open clay studio session is for: Those who are pottery wheel-curious and want to give it a spin. Those who know how to use the pottery wheel (Makerspace members). Those who want to play with clay during non-open hours (hand building, etc). Dustin Larson will be in the pottery studio to offer instructions and tips on how to throw clay on the pottery wheel. For those who are trying out the pottery wheels, a cash/check fee of $5 a session is requested. Those trying out the wheels do not keep what they make. The focus is on the process so all materials and aprons are provided by the Arts Center. However, if demand is high for another pottery wheel class, one will be added to the schedule.
